Gigi Plays Ball!

Garland has been enjoying the Y's Rookie T-Ball league ~ We had fun buying a pink glove, pink bat and a pink batting helmet ~ Together we decorated the helmet with all kinds of fun stickers featuring her favorites including High School Musical, Hannah Montana and the Disney Princesses~

School's Out for SUMMER!

Both our boys had a wonderful year at school ~ They both had EXCELLENT report cards and Hayden was named a Magnificient Mathematician at the end of the year awards ceremony ~

Gigi is our Children's Champion!

Garland was named on of Nationwide Children's Hospital's Children's Champions during the Annual Children's Miracle Network Telethon on Channel 10 ~ Gigi along with her whole family had the opportunity to be interviewed on LIVE tv on the morning of Sunday, May 31 ~ We had a good time and we were all pleased that Gigi shared her celebrity with her family ~

Garland to Appear on the Children's Miracle Network Telethon

Gigi will recieve a Children's Champions Medal on Sunday morning at 11:15 AM on Channel 10. As many of you know Garland was born with a congenital kidney defect which required her to have surgery right before her first birthday in 2005 to remove an extra non-functioning ureter ~ Despite a rough first year of life, she has had little to no problems since Dr. J down at Children's fixed her up ~ She was featured on the 2006 Miracle Network telecast and as a former Children's patient has been asked back every year ~ When they contacted elgible families and explained that they still had room for this year, we asked Gigi if she would like to return to the small screen ~ She reviewed the 2006 tape and said she was ready to be back in the spotlight (he...he...) So if you are in the Columbus area and near a TV this Sunday, May 31 tune into to see our favorite Children's Champion :)

Gigi started Rookie T-Ball and will have games every Saturday morning thorugh June 27 @ 9 AM at Eljer Park ~
